Sometimes you just require a fast assembly to catch up with the team. You don’t need a whole lot of bells and whistles or even additional nonsense tools.
MeetingBurner’s free edition, Mac or PC, for up to 15 participants comprises screen sharing along with also a phone-in line. Meeting Burner Reviews
Based on Flash and Java, MeetingBurner requires just a few minutes to set up, after which you as organizer get a dashboard from which you may adjust settings (there are not too many), schedule a meeting, or simply launch one immediately. The service provides you a customized URL (yourname.meetingburner.com) and phone number to talk with participants. A MeetingBurner URL enables you to share your screen.
You start by running a Java applet that creates a little control window where you can specify whether to talk about the entire display, an application, or a custom area. It’s too bad that participants see a grey rectangle in the area covered by the management window, however you can move the window around so that it doesn’t hide important information.
If you share your whole screen, participants may see a navigation bar with info about you based on your preferences, the name of your assembly, the dial-in number, and a chat window (if you’ve authorized one). You also get a list of participants, also MeetingBurner enables you to create any one of these the presenter–however that person must download and operate the screen-sharing applet.
Drawbacks? MeetingBurner’s interface is cluttered and not necessarily intuitive.
More importantly, the free version does not permit you to record the proceedings. To document a meeting and discuss that record, you have to subscribe to the $40-per-month MeetingBurner Guru (for up to 50 participants) or the $100-per-month Premier edition, which supports up to 1000 users and adds analytics into the mixture.
So while this is all well and good, if there is not a way to streamline all your contacts into the service or offer, there’s no true benefit. Hence, an individual has to go a step further to optimize their advertising efforts.
